how to get to telašćica nature park
Telašćica Nature Park is a bay on the island of Dugi Otok surrounded by 13 islets, a few miles from Biograd. It attracts many visitors each year to its natural beauty and to bathe in the medicinal waters of Mir Lake. The saltwater lake is a rarity, being saltier and warmer than the nearby sea.
There are Roman ruins at Mala Proversa and numerous ancient churches, including St John's in Stivanja Polja. The area is also home to classic Mediterranean flora including vineyards, olive groves, Aleppo pines and holly oak.
