how to get to lake vrana
Just 4 km from Biograd lies Vransko Jezero (Lake Vrana), the biggest lake in Croatia and another of Croatia's wonderful Nature Parks.
Due to its location and special characteristics, Lake Vrana attracts a variety of bird species uniquely found only in this part of Europe. Consequently it has become one of Europe's leading bird sanctuaries. It was added to the list of European protected ornithological preservation areas in 1983 because of its great biological diversity and outstanding scientific value.
